We were in Charlotte from Chicago which has several high quality eastern and southern Mediterranean restaurants. Levant ranks among the best that we have experienced. The lamb and beef kabobs were moist and cook perfectly. The rack of lamb was succulent and properly seasoned. We started with yogurt, potato and halloumi appetizers. I often serve broiled halloumi. While I thought that the halloumi could have been browned a bit more on one side (the other was done to perfection), two others in our group of four thought that it was done properly. It clearly did not detract from our overall ranking of outstanding. Wine and beer selections: excellent. Desert: great, but should add more regional choices.
